Unum achieves ISO14001 approval
We have achieved ISO 14001:2015 certification following a successful independent audit completed in December 2025. The approval marks another milestone in our commitment to responsible and sustainable operations.
Chris Brady, founder and CEO, Unum, says: “Achieving ISO 14001 certification is an important step for Unum. It recognises the robustness of our environmental management systems and reflects the focus we are placing on continuous improvement as we scale our manufacturing and certification capabilities.
“With our production base near London Gatwick and growing customer programmes ahead, this certification reinforces that sustainability is embedded within our operations, from design and certification through to manufacturing and in-service support.”
The certification has been issued by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance (LRQA), accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) and applies across the design, certification, manufacturing and in-service support of business class seats and associated equipment for passenger aircraft.
